Role overview
As our Podcast Outreach Coordinator, you will research and invite K–12 district leaders to be guests on the SmartSocial Podcast, schedule recordings, prepare guests, and handle follow-ups. This role can be part-time or full-time and is ideal for someone who loves learning and wants to help protect kids.
What you’ll do

Identify and research potential guests at school districts across the U.S.
Call district offices and email leaders to invite them onto the podcast.
Write clear, personable outreach messages and follow-ups.
Schedule recordings and manage calendar logistics for guests and our host.
Prepare guests with a short brief that includes topic ideas, tech checks, and timing.
Collect bios, headshots, titles, and pronunciation notes.
Confirm consent details and share basic recording guidelines.
Send reminders before the recording and a thank-you after.
Keep accurate notes in our CRM or tracking sheet.
Coordinate with our team on episode order, show notes, and simple post-record tasks.

Qualifications

1–7 years of professional experience, internships included.
Experience with outreach, research, and basic scheduling.
Tech-savvy with email, spreadsheets, and calendar tools.
Familiarity with Zoom or similar recording platforms is a plus.

Schedule and location

100% remote.
Part-time or full-time. We hold a 30–60 minute daily team meeting and 1–2 additional video collaboration sessions each week.

Pay: $17.00 – $30.00 per hour
